Ruby Rushforth

Ruby is a highly qualified urban planner with practical experience managing community and stakeholder engagement issues. She has a focus on research, analysis and innovation to drive high quality, inclusive community engagement.

Ruby holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning, a Bachelor of Arts in English and Writing and an IAP2 Certificate in Engagement. She is also affiliated with the Planning Institute of Australia.

Ruby has conducted detailed benchmarking reviews of local government engagement frameworks, including the City of Adelaide and the City of Onkaparinga, and delivered on-the-ground community and stakeholder engagement activities and social impact assessments for transport planning studies.

Outside GTP, Ruby is passionate about social justice issues and is driven by a belief in equity for all people. Ruby enjoys ceramics and can often be found covered in clay at her friend’s pottery studio.
