Daniel Thorpe founded Gould Thorpe Planning Pty Ltd (incorporating Janet Gould + Associates) in 2008 and has since built GTP's reputation as South Australia's leading specialist community and stakeholder engagement consultancy. As Managing Director, Daniel leads a highly skilled team and oversees significant projects across the state. He is an accomplished urban and social planner with over 25 years of experience across Australia and England's government and private sectors.

Daniel has led engagement programs and provided expert communications, social impact planning, and advisory services on complex infrastructure and development programs. His work includes some of the largest transport, utility and planning projects in South Australia.

With his in-depth expertise delivering stakeholder engagement for multifaceted large-scale projects, Daniel is adept at navigating complex technical and social challenges. He keeps an eye on the bigger picture vision, ensuring infrastructure development unlocks SA's potential while respecting community needs and values.
